DIY Custom Subwoofer.
This project started when I was thinking of selling my old TV that is not used to the Junkman. But after several time, I was curious to disassemble and see what is inside. And it turns out, there is a 4-inch subwoofer integrated inside. Power ampifier using 3 pcs of IC TDA 2030 . And I think the three of IC TDA2030 are still in good condition and can be reused for other amplifiers. So far I was fond of recycling something from unused goods. I finally got the idea to build a custom mini subwoofer for my stereo desktop speakers. All components have been available on this old TV, I just need to move it to a new circuit board and buy a new transformer for its power supply. For the subwoofer enclosure, I made it from transparent plastic jar.
How to Build Custom Subwoofer, Simple and Easy.
After "googling" for several time, i finally found a circuit schematic for my project. The circuit is very simple and easy to build. For more powerful amplifier, we need 2pcs of TDA2030 that are in bridge configuration.
The result was good enough, according to the information, such circuit produce an output about 35 watts. And it was more than enough for something i get from unused goods.
Notes :
I created this stuff from unused materials, amplifier and speakers i took from an old tv, tone adjuster from an unused radio receiver, potentiometers from screen adjustor in an analog monitor. I just need to buy a new transformer, multipurpose PCB, and of course a transparent plastic jar as its enclosure.
